Wrist are going bad – What “stick” drill
Alot of guys in the field use the panasonic – tried and true.
I myself have own both the 12 and 15.6 volt drills.
The new dewalt 7.5V cordless screwdrivers looks more ergonimic
though….
Anyone have any true life comparisons on any of these beasts

OK Alan- I'll bite -I don't know anyone in the field that uses the type of drills you are referring to. Perhaps the word ergonomic and stick drill really have nothing in common, and what you really mean is light and powerful.
Try holding one of these bad boys for six weeks and you will know the meaning of ergonomic and powerful.

Rez- it's about five years old. The new one has twice the speed and torque. We just installed 4200 LF of ironwood decking and these little guys don't miss a beat. One new drill bit every 400 LF . The guns get warm but they don't stop workin.Bob

So Bob, is that an impact driver? I can't find one locally attall. Went to a Bosch fair last week and was told they might come out wit one in January...I always have liked the lighter blue stream, though....where is AJ when we really need some impact? It's okay, I can fix it!
Billy- I was posting my answer and pushed the wrong button and lost it in cyberspace........
Any way go to http://www.makita.com or ask your local lumber yard to bring in a Makita model

The wrist problem. Is this a carpal Tunnel thing?
If it is then consider the torque bars that industry puts on Pneumatic stations where a person drives in 600 screws per hour. What they do is put a shaft perpendicular to the axis of the drill and have the shaft smack against a pipe or structure to absorb the shock of the drill when it stalls at the end of the drive. 1/2 HP drills generally have a second handle for similar reasons.
If you use a DC drill get one with a torque setting. That ought to save you some pain.
