I know it’s a shot in the dark, but anyone not using their PC MAG or 745 RIGHT BLADE ONLY…I’d like to take it off your hands. I have a 745 and I have beat it to within a half inch of it’s life. Need a backup for when this one goes kaput (in the shop now).
I am not ready to go to another brand, and am certainly not buying PC’s new saw.
Lemme know if ya got something.
Don’t know if I mentioned it, but it should be a RIGHT BLADE.
Never know unless you ask…

Well, I have this old left blade...
I may have to break down and get used to using one of them. I can get a new one around here for $90, but I have not had a lot of luck using the lefty's. Thanks though.
And I'm left handed!!No Coffee No Workee!
I would look on ebay. I bought a nearly new right blade PC saw for 70 bucks. It was the older black bodied saw.

Well heck, you can buy a reconditioned blue Makita off of the internet for under $100. Try cpomakita.com. If it absolutely has to be a PC, try cpoportercable.com.
Edit: I just went to cpomakita and didn't see the saw you are looking for. Toolking.com or tylertool.com would also be good choices.

Tried those and ebay...all had the left blade. Tool king had the right showing, but said "out of stock". I'll just keep my eye out for one on ebay.
I think if I did switch I'd do the makita, but I do like my PC.
Thanks everyoneNo Coffee No Workee!
I have 2 right blades, you can't have them!>G<
I have one, he can't have it either.I haven't looked lately, but aren't those available in stores?
I thought so.
Sitting right on the shelf over in the big blue store.
Thought so!
Did Steve ever buy a trailor?
At the local HD they had a 6x10 single axle marked at 2K! New!
No, I think that money went into the new garage/barn. We took down an old barn from the Glimmerglass opera
which he's using parts of for a garage.
cool
Not available in stores.
Maybe they're available in your state?
Not here. Haven't been for about 2 years.
Buy one, and I'll buy it from you.
Make sure it's a right blade :). Make sure it's a "MAG" or a 745 (Black body).
Thanks again.

No problem. I'll look next time I'm in town. Do you have a price you don't want to go past?
I think they were $150.00 range.
I'm not sure what you are looking for. I have a PC 315-1 type 2 saw I don't use.
It has the blade on the right. I think it is more of a shop saw than a field saw.

I think it is discontinued. I have the 324mag which is the same saw but without the blade brake. Here is the only place I could find that may actually have a 325mag ($165). I would call them first at 1-800-640-tool to be sure they have it.http://www.dynamitetoolco.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=POR-325MAG&gdftrk=gdfV2469_a_7c555_a_7c3095_a_7cPOR_d_325MAG
Thanks for that...I'm calling tomorrow AM.No Coffee No Workee!
Were you able to get one?
Nope...I think I'm gonna get a Makita. My PC is in the "shop" gettin' a new switch, and I think I'll use it as my new backup.
Used a makita the other day and loved it.No Coffee No Workee!
Those ones with the blade brake are rough on switches, I hear.
Oh, yeah? The Makita?
I plan to do a bit of research before I buy.
Saw the new one ($160) and the one they're trying to get rid of ($99) at the Depot today...
I'll keep looking. No Coffee No Workee!
No, just about any saw with a brake is hard on switches. They short out the back emf from the motor to decelerate it. Sometimes the brake quits working, sometimes the switch goes south. Well actually the switch goes out either way, but sometimes the switch really goes out.
Well, if your still interested I saw one at the local lumber yard for
$130.00 Mag. Blade Right. Let me know if you want it and I'll pick it up and send it to you.
Here's a pic of mine. It has a large aluminum base. I don't think it is for framing.
More for sheet goods. Or on a bench. That's what I used it for. "There are three kinds of men: The one that learns by reading, the few who learn by observation and the rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves."Will Rogers
That is the model that the one he wants replace replaced!
