WTB: that’s wanted to buy/bum/trade a beer for/etc. The beer part only goes for ATL folks.
I have a cantankerous piece of oak strip that’s laced into some old flooring and wants to bend up and destroy the strips around it. Would face nail, but I think it’s bad enough that screws are gonna be necessary to hold it down.
My dilemma is that I don’t need a full box of #8 x 3″ tan head stainless screws from McFeely’s, when I’m only gonna use 6 at most.
Hoping someone has a few extra they could part with for a nominal price- few bucks plus shipping. Thanks!

Don't have any.
Thought: why not use a regular, flat head, GRK in a counterbored bole and plug the holes. Bigger head could help your situation with some extra holding power.
