I had intended to replace my old cedar shake siding with lap siding this year but medical expenses got in the way. I have had a problem with yellow jackets getting under the shakes. Apart from removing the shakes or tenting off the whole house to fumigate it, does anybody have any quick fix suggestions. I guess waiting for winter would be one!

Montanaman,
Spray the shakes with liquid Sevin in garden sprayer. This takes a couple of applications and about a week to kill wasp.
