After the last big quake here in 94′, zero clearance fireplaces (prefabbed modular metal units) were everywhere to be found, but no more. I need to knock down an old style masonry chimney and fireplace on a frame and stucco house and reframe for the light-weight zero-clearance chimney. I need sources (preferably West Coast) for the fireplaces and framing/foundation details for installation. Can anyone advise me further?
