Kitchen Remodel
We gutted this kitchen in a 1927 Shingle style Cape Cod house that was updated in the mid 70s.

The window is a Pella Architectural series with true divided lights. The cabinets are made by Plato.

The 4 ft. stove and vent are Dacor

The tile was custom made from Italy and took 2 months to get. The home owner, Linda and I worked together, looking at pictures and making drawings on the wall until we came up with this design. We focussed on texture and kept it simple. I installed it myself because I wanted to make sure it came out perfect.

The utility room wall was moved back 5 ft. which allowed better access to the back door and made the kitchen the perfect size. The "lunch table" was the clients idea as I had proposed a small desk area. It was a great choice. There is a cat door under the c top.

The existing floor and ceiling framing were undersized and 1 1/2" out of level, The exterior framing was cut and patched from multiple remodels. The wiring and plumbing were replaced. We lowered the floor framing to allow for radiant heat under the oak flooring.
