Now, for more than 40 years, Sylvan Brandt’s has grown to specialize in a business of saving the finest vintage lumber from 17th and 18th Century barns and houses to milling the lumber into unique and characteristic floorboards. In addition, Sylvan Brandt also reclaims old doors, windows, hinges, and other hardware and architectural elements from these old buildings that would otherwise be destroyed.

Today, Sylvan’s son Dean along with the crew run the family business. He is proud to continue the tradition which his father began.
