Simple Scribing Tools
Use a washer and a pencil to scribe moldings quickly and easily without marring a finished surface.
Using a washer to scribe materials is not my idea, but after being introduced to the concept, I quickly built a collection of multiple sizes and styles, giving me many preset wood scribing tools.
For smaller scribes, they’re invaluable. As an added bonus, a washer rarely mars a finished surface. I use my scribe washers for scribing moldings to ceilings, walls, and floors.

Nice tip, I need to remember that one and keep the washers on hand. I like the simple storage loop idea.
