Handy Hose for Spray-Foam Insulation
Use this easy solution to air-seal tight, hard-to-reach places with foam.
If you’re air-sealing and can’t get the can of foam into those tight, hard-to-reach places, you could spray it on your gloved hand and gob it where you need it, but there’s better way.
Pro Guns are great for when you’re air-sealing a house, but they can be awkward and get in your way since the can is tall and the nozzle is long. In certain tight situations, the spray gun (or can) will not fit, so Chris Green of New Milford, Conn., came up with an easy solution using a scrap piece of electrical wire.

Good tip if you have that type of wire available. You can also use commonly available plastic or rubber tubing. Almost every big box and hardware store sells clear vinyl tubing.
Interesting tip.
Funny that most foam guns for sale in France, where I'm renovating, are supplied with a few lengths of clear plastic tubing.
Seems they are already way ahead.
i use ½ inch pex tube
