LED Lighting and Counter Support, Combined
A new bracket that supports an island overhang also adds accent lighting to the kitchen.
As modern kitchen styles overtake traditional looks in popularity, the appeal of carved, decorative countertop corbels fades. At the same time, stone countertops still enjoy high demand and they still require support when they overhang cabinets to allow for seated dining.
Federal Brace has been making hidden supports for 10 years, but just added LED lighting to enhance them. These can deliver a night light or accent effect that washes down the cabinets below. The brackets come in multiple lengths for different overhang dimensions, with all required LED lighting components. The Eco-Lucent system has a remote control for selecting colors and desired amount of light. Its aluminum housing is mounted to each bracket with extension cables for pigtailing together the length of the counter.
