Repairing Damaged Siding: Clapboard Quick Fix
Don't want to replace the whole clapboard? Here are a few simple steps you can take to remove just the damaged portion.
Mike uses a modified saw and some scraps of readily available materials to lift the clapboard above the damaged piece, protect the adjacent siding and housewrap, and cut out the offending portion of clapboard before cutting a replacement piece.
