How to Cut Tile With a Wet Saw
Get clean, straight cuts every time by following a few simple rules.
Wet saws are the professional choice for cutting tile and is an essential tool if you have a substantial amount of tile to cut. Wet saws cut tile more accurately and much quicker than the alternative score and snap method. Renting a wet saw is easy to do at your local big-box store. All saws are slightly different, but they all work the same way. A toothless, water-cooled diamond blade cuts the tile as it’s fed into the blade.
To make a straight cut, place the tile tight to the rear fence and slide the table forward to align the cut mark with the path of the blade. Then slide the table back and turn on the saw. Guide the tile into the saw using, slow even pressure with both hands. If you hear the motor bogging down, you’re pushing too fast, so slow down and let the blade do the work. Once the cut is complete, retract the sliding table and direct excess water off the tile and back into the water reservoir. Cut properly with a quality blade, the cuts will yield a smooth, burn-free cut that doesn’t have excessive flaking.

I disagree that a wet saw is "quicker" than scratch and snap. For the right tiles and the right cuts, scratch and snap is much faster. The wet saw wins for small edge cuts and cuts that aren't a straight line or plunge cuts.
"Mastered" in a minute? Pretty funny title. Barely touches the most basic cut. No angles, bevels, notches, shaving cuts. And that's just on tile. These saws can cut everything from 1-1/2" roundish pebbles to 20+ pound basalt or granite "boulders". Though I'd recommend the more robust MK-101 rather than these grinder-motor saws. I'd probably still be using my first one (after 20 years) if it hadn't been stolen.
A wet saw is ideal for odd cuts and narrow trimmings but a high quality score & snap should not be overlooked. Go to a real tile supplyhouse and buy a $200+ score & snap. Its faster, silent and mess free. Did you see the floor in the video? Most home owners will make you set up the wet saw out back somewhere. You can have the score & snap right beside you in the room.
Seldom are they "quicker". Stunning amount of useful information in the video.
Pretty basic tips, but I think they're appropriate for novices.
