Do you pat the top of the cement to bring up the moisture or spray it quickly with water or just smooth it out ?
I don't trust the plugs, like, how much weight will the bench take before it pulls out? I think I mite add 2 legs underneath and cover the legs. Or, maybe make a longer bench that sits independently on the floor I wonder if a person could use bolts that I could nut on the other side?
For a longer lasting installation, plan ahead of time where you expect the bench to go and provide solid wood blocking behind the backer board (prior to installing backer board) in order to screw the bench frame securely to the wall. So, that you aren't relying on the plastic anchors to secure the bench frame.
