The original bathroom was divided into two small rooms…both of which were too small to use effectively. We took out the dividing wall and stripped the room down to the studs and reinsulated. We replaced the tub with a shower since at the time we were converting the room for elderly mother in law who could not step over the side of the tub. We used the bowl of a pedestal sink and built the vanity to fit. It was then skinned with cultured marble.
