Instant Scratch-Free, Cost-Free Safety Glasses Holders
This tip ain’t fancy, but it sure is easy and effective… I try to keep safety glasses all over my truck, trailer, tool bags, etc. so I don’t have to go too far to find a pair. Trouble is, I like them to be in good shape, too, not all scratched up from scraping around on other stuff. I cut the foot off of old athletic socks (tube socks or regular socks) to instantly make scratch-free “cases”. When used loose, the glasses stay in the sock foot, and stay scratch-free. I screwed a couple sock feet “pouches” to the inside wall of my trailer to make sure I always have a couple pair there, as well. Took about 60 seconds to do. Somtimes the simplest ideas are the most fun.
