When my wife and I removed a wall seperating our kitchen and family room we were left with an open space from the reconfigured kitchen. We felt we had room to build a custom island which has a split personality. One half is used to hold our seasonal plates while the other half is used for wine and cook books. Is this a wow island…no…Is it a practical island…yes.
