I started this house in August of 2007. It overlooks West Lake in Portage Michigan. I am still finishing details like landscaping and paint but it is almost there. Last week a morning fog was lifting on the lake so I ran out and snapped the reflection shot. This has been a genuine labor of love.

This kitchen is part of a home building project that I did entirely myself. I even rented the backhoe to dig the foundation. This island is white marble as are the floors and the backsplash between the cabinets. The countertops and the post are solid surface material that I fabricated.
This is the entry of the same house...The balusters are cast iron. The center post cap is removable and houses a 110v recepticle and a computer cable to facilitate a TV projection across the room for a 13 foot diagonal picture and also 7.1 surround sound. The sunlight play with the chandelier is spectaclar both in the morning and the afternoon
West Lake usually shows white caps but not on this day. The reflections give a double exposure of October in Michigan
