This built-in cabinet is part of a larger kitchen remodel. The husband’s request during the project was for a wine cabinet to store and serve his wine. This is a feature packed cabinet that does more than meets the eye. The quarter sawn oak cabinet features two wine racks with a 72 bottle capacity, an undercounter wine refrigerator concealed behind the center raised panel door, space for hanging wine glasses, additional glass storage behind upper cabinets’ glass doors, a couple of drawers to store napkins and corkscrews and a granite counter to serve from. In addition, the side of the cabinet has a “command central” space for dropping off keys, charging phones and iPods, storing daily mail and organizing paperwork. Lastly, the tall doors to the left of the wine area, pull out for easy access to cleaning supplies. including storage for brooms, mops and the vacuum.
