Seattle Rambler Master BR Re-do
As usual, a simple project turns into, “If you’re going to do it at all, do it right.” This window in the “Master Bedroom” is 7′ long and exposed to the brunt of the NW weather. Former fixes by others were inadequate at best, leaving mold and crumbling drywall. Originally a simple “update”, the moment I discovered there was no insulation in the exterior walls, it was decided a major overhaul was needed. American Cherry was chosen for all the trim. To date, the windows and closet are trimmed and baseboards are down. The closet has been opened up and gutted to recieve a custom built interior – which is in progress.
