The best Nail / Screw Holders you can get for practically free.
After reading the Screw Pick Up Tip, I figured I’d help you eliminate those pesky cheap cardboard containers that always seem to rip (at the worst time) leaving you to pick up 1000 screws or nails.
I use old cashew, peanut, candy almond, etc container from Costco. It’s funny that a cheaper product at Costco has a 100x better box… but it’s food so it has to keep fresh.
I like these container because they are free, easy to clean, clear, can be written on with markers, and the label comes off easily in hot water.
Additionally they may help prevent corrosion on your fasteners during storage (make sure to wash them though, or the salt from the nuts will do the opposite)

Right on 1Kevin1! I save all my plastic peanut butter jars and ask friends to do the same, after a couple of years of this I now can carry a huge variety of fasteners that neatly fit in a an old milk crate with no fear of rust or exploded boxes covering the bed of my truck.
Good tip... My Dad used to glue the lids of clear containers to the bottom of the upper cabinets shelves in his shop. When he was done with the container and it's contents he just screwed it back in place. He didn't have to dig to find what he needed, and it left a clean workspace.
Quicker to collect and at less cost are pint size plastic soup containers from your local Chinese restaurant. They come with snap top lids.
