After shopping for weeks for an outdoor table that the whole family could sit at; the wife and I gave up. I decided it would be so much cheaper to make my own. The top is 3/4″ Birch plywood, sides are 1×4 Poplar; the support structure is a combo of 2×4 and 1×6. The legs I purchased from a cabinet store; which was the most expensive part. I covered everything in Marine Varnish for a long lasting shine. With the help of my neighbor and about 4 hours work it is done and seats 8-10 people with all the food on the table comfortably. I keep the table covered when not in use and as you can see it still shines after 11 months.
