My husband and I live on the lake and we love to spend our time outdoors. Last year we installed a fifteen foot folding window wall in our living room that faces the lake. We wanted to enjoy having our new window wall open, but we needed a screened in porch. It turned out to be a huge project, but it was well worth the effort. Our new outdoor living space blends perfectly with our indoor space, and it has been fantastic for entertaining.

Very well executed - I happen to be currently sitting in my own screened in porch, of similar design and look right, down to the post & beam and roofing material .... gazing down at our lake. We've owned our cottage for over 20 years but only installed the screened porch about 4 years ago - its been a god send. We're located in Quebec, Canada and the Spring bug season can be quite ferocious.
From one cottager to another congrats! If you go to my post in the gallery you can see my execution of a cottage bunkhouse.
