A classic Cape Cod-style home became a remodeled contemporary with the removal of the Cape’s traditional central front door. A window replaced the door and a dramatic new front entry was created at the inside corner of the house. The handsome new entry features crown mouldings and a barrel ceiling finished with tongue and groove beadboard. New cedar shingles and new windows completed the whole-house remodel.
