Some flimsy metal with some shims stuck in the gap is weather tight for a new door, right?
I thought by buying a high end patio door through the showroom and using their recommended installer, the installation would be then best. The door they replaced was rotted (which they said was from poor installation) and I stressed the importance of sealing it up right because it is on the weather side of the house (which was why i wanted the best energy efficient door I could afford). I guess they thought a woman wouldn’t look.
