Bond House – Exterior Deck
This is a deck that I designed last winter and supervised the construction process over this summer. It’s all cedar decking and trim finished with Para Raincoat (the painters told me they loved this product by the way). I also designed the handrail and had it fabricated at a shop in Kingston, Ontario. The decking is attached with Tiger Claw hidden fasteners. At first the carpenters found using this product a bit perplexing but after day one they told me they really liked the product. I will note though that it did slow them down quite a bit so it’s something to consider if you’re planning a project. The end result is incredible.
