While remodeling the kitchen for a petite client, I was given the challenge to make her many spices easier to reach (and see) without losing countertop or under-counter space. Corner cabinets make poor use of space, especially with a 12″ opening and no after-market lazy susans that would work in this situation. It took a piece of aluminum angle, three drawer glides, a panel from another oak cabinet, some pre-finished plywood scraps, and a few hours later, but she had the concealed, reachable spice organizer she always wanted. And the fixed, trapezoidal shelves that remain provide space easy enough to use that she won’t need that flashlight anymore…

Really nice....I like it
Great idea! It's nice to see someone creatively use what they've already got.
Nice work! I'll keep that in mind for future clients. Those corner cabinets are a lot of wasted space.
Great "out-of-the-box" thinking!
Very nice. I'm shure she will use it often.
YES!
What was the aluminum angle used for.. I see the 3 drawer slides but I cant see the angle..
The word "brilliant" comes to mind...
