In order to avoid a dreadful inside corner cabinet in a remodeled kitchen, a display wall was created instead, thereby creating a corner opportunity on the opposite side of the wall. This was a good space to construct a convenient phone station. In the same kitchen, the back side of the island houses space for seldom-used kitchenware. The pot drawer was made more efficient with slots to organize pot lids and smaller pans.
