Glass Rail over Trex Deck
I recently built the pictured deck and rail using the Rail Simple Clearview system over a Trex Transcend Treehouse deck. The clients wanted a see-through deck rail and at first wanted a cable rail but were concerned about grandkids climbing the cables. The Rail Simple system, however, did provide the clean, contemporaroy look they were after. So I resawed 6X6 redwood posts to 4’1/2″ and created panels using Clear View with a 4X6 redwood top rail, which was then painted. Greg Service, 707 495-0929.
