candy cane table
Contemporary rendition of a victorian age end table- delicate but strong. Main top and shelf end grain cypress, all top trim wenge,sapele,maple and bird’s eye maple end grain also.( if saw cut across table top 1/4 deep, could be sanded and top remains same.) Each leg consists of 32 pcs. 1/32″ veneer bent and worked to 1″ diameter “candy cane” consists of cypress,sapele, wenge, and maple. Instead of the traditional finial I recapped it with an hour glass of wenge and maple. 28″wx22″dx28″h.
