Retiring Architect and wife with opportunity to design and construct home along Lake Erie. On small, wooded lot with distant view of lake. Goal was to develop a unique, compact, open plan preserving natural beauty of site yet provide accessibility and functionality. Structure is timber frame, well insulated, with durable, long lasting finishes. Kitchen is focal point of plan, continuing finish materials used throughout house.
