The existing master bath consisted of a rarely used corner tub, fiberglass shower enclosure, and small two sink vanity – all basic builder quality items. To gain maximum use, prioritize the features of the bath most desired, and to upgrade all finishes and fixtures, the project consisted of the following scope. All bath area (other than water closet room) was gutted to the framing including floor removal – walls insulated with 2lb closed cell spray foam, pocket door installed, Schluter Ditra uncoupling membrane, heated ceramic floor, large double custom vanity across entire length of room, fixed mirrors with crown molding to match millwork, custom ceramic tile shower enclosure water proofed with Schluter membrane, dry pack shower floor with Schluter drain, wall to wall accessory shelf trimmed in quartz to match counters, all lighting, plumbing, and electrical replaced. Custom milled base moulding and casing complete the finishes.
