This bathroom is a retreat for the owners. They wanted to have a spa like feel that was comfortable yet practicle for their needs. Stepped, rough cut travertine tiles were used as a feature wall behind the soaking tub. Strategically placed lighting enhances the wall especially at night.
Upgrading the footings and columns that support a girder beam is an opportunity to level out the floor above.
