Killer 1883 Porch Re-Creation
This was a complete porch rebuild of an 1883 historic home in Tenafly NJ. The architectural drawings were based on two very old and degraded photos of the front of the home. The material for the porch structure and handrails is clear cedar, The flooring and staircases (2) are mahogany and all the lower cladding is Azek. It was installed in the dead of winter when the morning temperature was between 19 and 23 degrees. Quite beyond brutal. The finished work sings.
