These clients came to us after being disappointed by other companies in there inability to design and build a modern home within the confines of a real budget. After an initial consultation, we were able to put together a program which described the details and the “must haves” that were to be included in the design. From the beginning we knew the extent of the budget and were careful to monitor the design process as it related to cost.
Secondly, the new home was to be built on the site of a prior owners burned down house. The driveway, septic system, well and utilities were already on the site. We took great care to site the new house with the desired orientation and elevation while making it work well within the limits of the existing features. Today there is no evidence of the property’s prior history.
