Satellite dish becomes barbecue shelter
When presented with the ribs from an old 12′ dia satellite dish I immediatly saw them as linear and planned to use them for a roof structure. After a period of approx 8 years and the purchase of a Made in America barbecue it became apparent where those ribs would be used! With a few pieces of common chain-link fence componets I created the support structure for the roof. Adding two pieces of sheet aluminum to the ribs completed the barbecue shelter…an all metal, well vented, structure that keeps me cooking year-round.
