This 3,400 SF home is nestled in a wooded landscape on the tip of a small peninsula on Coastal Maine. The siting and overall design were driven by the client’s desire that the best of the many wonderful views be enjoyed from the kitchen. The spectacular landscape is also experienced from the rest of home, where interior spaces are laid out to capture a variety of water views through the trees. Sitting back on the site and screened by the trees, the house is a quiet presence on the shore throughout the year.
