Our top priorities in building this project were to build in a small footprint, use natural building products, and to build so well that the house would stand for generations to come.
We wanted to glean what worked from those 500 year old houses that are still standing in Europe. We wanted clean sculptural lines, rugged natural materials and the beauty of old world craftsmanship. This is a house built by families of craftsmen that take pride in their trades.
