I’m a desk jockey 40 hours a week, so when I started replacing our deck last summer, the first thing I invested in was a good pair of gloves. Unfortunately, gloves can make a simple task like picking a screw out of a bucket into an exercise in frustration. I found a better way.
I glued a small neodymium magnet to the back of one finger of the gloves, then glued a piece of cloth over that to help hold it in place. Not only did it make it easier to pick screws, but it also kept my gloves from getting lost in the clutter on my workbench. I just slap them at eye level on a lally column, and they hang there until I need them again.
