The project was for an active family with a desire to enhance their lifestyle with a kitchen that provides for their fast paced lifestyle and entertaining requirements. The anchor of the kitchen is the island. It’s size and location provides the visual weight of the kitchen upon which the rest of the kitchen revolves. The enhanced ceiling detail assists to establish the island as the “town square” of the house. Surrounding walls and entrances were opened up to provide for the open plan feel desired by my clients. The kitchen’s success is enhanced by the adjacent working pantry.
