The primary goal of this bathroom remodel was to update the fixtures and finishes to better reflect the modern design aesthetic of the homeowners while maintaining a moderate budget. The layout functioned well for the homeowners, but they were eager to remove the golden oak trim, builder grade cabinetry, lighting and shower stall. The finished product is a modern yet comfortable space with a nautical flair. A blue floor-to-ceiling glass tile shower adds a bright punch of color against the neutral blue walls and dark tile floors. In an effort to reduce cost the homeowners purchased a pre-assembled vanity as well as the plumbing accessories including the port hole mirrored medicine cabinets.
