This little BBQ shelter was constructed using an old 12′ dia satellite dish…the ribs formed a circle when used to pull-in the latest tv shows. In this application the ribs were used in a linear fashion and then covered with aluminum. The walls are made with lumber yard fencing material and a couple of steel studs. The four chain link fence posts that form the four corners are cemented into the ground. The shelter worked well up here in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada considering we just came through our worst winter in 100 years.
