I was recently installing the vapour barrier on the ceiling of a large room by myself, which can be somewhat challenging especially if the windows and doors haven’t been installed yet. So this time, I began on the wall facing the prevailing wind. After attaching the poly all along the one side, the wind turned my poly into a kite and lifted it to the ceiling for me, making my job a lot easier, and it required far fewer staples.
