(2014) Replace completely a 1960’s kitchen and laundry room. The original space was part of a 1930 two story porch that had been converted to a kitchen/Pantry with bedrooms upstairs. In 1960 extensive remodeling work was done throughout the house, including the kitchen redo. Not much care was taken at that time to plumb or square up the space. Once the decision to replace the interior of the two rooms was made, a large part of the initial work was to do the plumbing up and squaring of the structure. The goal was to provide a working kitchen and a functional laundry room with a Bungalow appearance. The addition is a bump out for a banquette.
