I purchased a 1960s ranch as I loved its bones; one story, big rooms, a little bit of an old world formality. However with this also came patch work style remodel done throughout the years, old bathroom and kitchen.
Kitchen was a closed in galley set up. Long and narrow layout. One wall was tear down opening a walk path to the living area. Another wall was opened up to create an island that communicates the kitchen to the living area. I like to cook and entertain and that meets both requirements.
