The clients were interested in improving the layout and functionality of their existing kitchen. The kitchen is the central space of their home and much family life is focused there. Attention was given to creating ample yet unobtrusive storage. We installed soapstone countertops and created an accent wall with hardwood veneers and aluminum trim.
Keeping HVAC systems within the conditioned enclosure can be tough without a basement; one option is to use plenum trusses for the roof, which offer a space for equipment and ductwork.
