The owners requested “traditional with a twist” meaning a classic beach house look with urban/modern elements. The couple who own a 4,000 sq. ft. kitchen for rent, a bagel shop, and bagel bakery in Portland, Oregon spend most of their down time cooking and entertaining. They wanted this kitchen to be very simple, convenient, and functional. It needed to have a view, be open to the main living, but also have separation.
