Challenge;

This twenty-year old “builder’s special” bath was renovated to meet the current needs of the homeowners. A tumbled marble platform with a jetted tub was dated and the use of tiled steps were required to access the tub, making entrance to the tub both cumbersome and somewhat dangerous. There were two small vanities each withinsignificant storage. A small fiberglass shower unit was cramped and inefficient.

Solution:

The luxurious new master bath incorporates a sculptural free-sanding bathtub with contemporary fluid curves.It stands as an easily accessible organic shape anchoring the room. A stunning Axor Citterio freestanding single lever bath mixer with an additional handheld shower was chosen for the water supply. A pair of custom designed rosewood vanities each with nine drawers, sporting Wetstyle’s single unit solid surface sinks and countertops made of eco-friendly soy and mineral stone are accented with oversized custom mirrors, contemporary sconces and additional lighting all with dimming controls. A vibrant wall color mimics the glass tile in the shower.

Beautiful frameless glass surrounds emphasize the spaciousness of the new shower area. The shower incorporates a new Grohe rain shower assembly, six Grohe body sprays as well as an Axor handheld showerhead to complete the luxurious spa-like shower experience.  Contemporary soft beige stone walls are accented with vertical insets of teal glass tile. Details and craftsmanship meet the homeowner’s modern Asian style with a luxurious spa feel.  The master bath is now a luscious retreat.
