The kitchen was designed to be the center of the house by having an over sized island that is open to the great room and the breakfast area for entertaining. The decor is modern by using white shaker style cabinets and Calcutta quartz counter tops. The island is set off by gray cabinets and built up top on the island with chrome handles and fixtures. Farmhouse elements were incorporated through the ship-lap ceiling, light fixtures and farmhouse sink. All professional series appliances were used including 2 ovens, 6 burner gas range, over sized fridge and freezer, warming drawer and pot filler. To keep the clean look a mixer stand was built into the island and coffee station was built into the cabinets to keep the counter tops clean.
