We did it AGAIN – and on another budget!
NBR, Inc.’s main business is working with outside clients, but we are also work on our own personal projects, always with crazy tight budgets. We live in the house as we remodel it, and for the 3rd time, we have moved out of a fully remodeled, beautiful home, to live in a dump, always with one barely functioning bathroom. We also bring a son and dog along for the ride. Instead of moving into larger homes, we joke that we keep moving into smaller, more expensive houses each time. It is a sign of the market and our prudent strategy. We have tips and secrets to get high end looks on a budget. We also can speak to living in a pit while running a business out of a fixer upper!
San Francisco is not an easy city to live in. As we are not uber-wealthy, we have to find a way to make it work for us, normal people living in a way too expensive city! Because of who we are and how we live, we prefer to work with like minded clients– homeowners also on a budget getting the most out of their homes and their lives.
