Every time I install a bathroom vanity light or a multi-light chandelier, I have trouble getting my large fingers up far enough inside the glass shade to turn and secure the large ceramic nuts that hold them in place. Here’s an easy way to do it. After you get the nut started just a few turns, hold a finger between the nut and the inside of the glass and simply spin the shade clockwise, allowing your finger to follow the shade around. The pressure from your finger against the nut should be enough to turn the nut as the shade spins.
